Foxes on the Trampoline

Written by Keenan Angel

It’s not every day that you come home with your beautiful children, who are ready to be jumping on their trampoline, and you find two foxes on it. Two foxes, taking in the wonderful weather and carelessly dive bombing up and down on the trampoline. It makes one wonder how they got in there. Also if they know exactly what they are on and if they think it’s a game. Usually you see foxes do their famous “dive” into the snow during the winter, but they’re doing their best to dive down through this trampoline.

Foxes are very similar to cats as they’re most active after the sun goes down. They also hunt their prey by stalking and then pouncing on it. Maybe they see something under the trampoline that looks like dinner and they’re trying to pounce on it. They also use the earths magnetic field to hunt their prey. When the shadow and the sound the prey is making line up they jump into the air and spring down on their catch. Now foxes are also known to be very playful. They’re curious and adventurous, just like humans. Which could be exactly how they ended up in this current situation. They happen to have most of their fun with balls. Who doesn’t like kicking balls around and playing with them. Often times you can see a fox stealing balls off of golf courses. Sneaky little devils they are. I think they’re sort of like children. Just out trying to explore the world and have the most fun they can each and every day. It probably wouldn’t be in your best interest to go jump on the trampoline with the foxes if you ever run across this situation but it is safe to know that they aren’t hurting anything and they’re just trying to get some play time in.
