Can Animals Be Soulmates?

Soulmates can show up at any point in our lives, whether we’re ready for it or not. What most people don’t know is that a soulmate can be anyone. They’re not always a love interest, although those are the kind we hear most about. So who’s to say that animals can’t have soulmates as well? I believe that they can, and that these two are soulmates who both knew it the moment they met.

Rosie was found as an abandoned kitten on the brink of death. No one thought she would make it through the night. Then the idea formed to pair her with a Siberian Husky named Lilo. Lilo had never been a mother and never would be. Whether it was instinct or something bigger; Lilo instantly became Rosie’s protector, caregiver, mother and friend.

Rosie’s health steadily climbed and today she’s a completely healthy Siberian Husky. Or at least she thinks she is. She does everything that Lilo does, including going on walks with a leash. She even goes outside to go potty, because that’s what dogs do! Rosie goes on vacations with the family and like most dogs, she loves the water. She isn’t afraid to do anything, because she has Lilo by her side.

A soulmate can be anyone from a best friend to a family member, and within that category falls our pets. They are someone who makes you re-evaluate your life, so that you want to live it better. They will make you feel something so profound that it changes you on a soul-deep level. It doesn’t even matter what species you are, the only thing that matters is that you’re happy. These two furry friends were definitely changed forever the moment they met, and they are living every moment to its fullest because they are better together.
